[Davis has just moved to Mexico City, to open the Fresh Tracks Mexico Office and investigate Latin America]

 I’m really happy in Mexico.

 In spite of plenty of time for anticipation, I think it came as a bit of a shock. I had plenty of other stuff on the go and then all of a sudden I was here!

To add to this, I’m now suddenly the owner of a 1.5-month-old black lab puppy, a delayed Christmas gift. He will be the official mascot of the Fresh Tracks Office down here!

My fears about living in Mexico City seemed pretty unfounded so far. Living on Georgia Street in Vancouver, I always found it fairly ‘in my face’ that I was in a big city. I expected that to multiply by approximately the size of this city’s population (Vancouver x12).But I actually prefer the apartment here - it’s fantastic! It’s a decent-sized, modern two-bedroom with a balcony. There’s tons of little shops around with everything we’ll need. We live on a quiet street in an area with lots of trees and parks. I wake up to birds singing in the morning! … and a puppy whining through the night.
